Wizard of Paws TV show animals

Prosthetics expert Derrick Campana offers hope and healing for animals across the globe. Our Sanctuary was very fortunate to have Derrick and his wonderful TV crew come to see Amelia and Logan, our 2 special residents. Amelia, who is blind and has mobility issues, was fitted with a custom-made prosthetic to help her walk. Logan, who has been struggling on 3 legs for many years, go his very own “bionic leg” to help stabilize him. Watch the TV episode “Saving Amelia” to hear more about the Sanctuary and see the heart-warming surprise ending! Thank you so much to Derrick and the entire crew at Wizard of Paws!!

Update on Amelia's “bionic leg”

After a year of living her best life with her new prosthetic, Amelia outgrew it! So, it was back to casting and creating a new prosthetic for our special girl. This was no small undertaking and after several unsuccessful attempts to find the right fit, we were contacted by the team at Infinitely Able Pets to assist. Jaron and his crew flew all the way from Virginia to ensure Amelia got the best care. One very long day (and night) later, we finally had success! Click here to watch the video of Amelia’s casting. Very special thanks to Jaron and his crew at Infinitely Able Pets. You brought Amelia hope again and we are eternally grateful!
